A British mother-of-three has been brutally murdered inside her home on the Costa del Sol.
The victim, 33, identified only by her initials V.H, was allegedly stabbed to death by her ex-partner at around 11.40am.
Her neighbour in Alhaurin el Grande is said to have called in police after hearing screams for help.
The alleged killer handed himself in at the Alhaurin de la Torre prison, sources close to the investigation said.
When the first Guardia Civil officers arrived, they found the woman with stab wounds to her neck.
Paramedics raced to the scene but could do nothing to save her.

The alleged perpetrator, identified by the initials J.A.R, turned himself in at the Alhaurin de la Torre prison.
The case was active in the Viogen domestic violence system, it has emerged, but was classified as low risk.
The killer was said to be subject to court-ordered restraining orders prohibiting contact and approaching the victim.
The incident occurred on Calle Tomillo while the victim’s three children were still inside the home.
A relative is reported to have entered the property and found the mother laying on the floor in a pool of blood next to a kitchen knife, suspected to be the murder weapon.
