Family of four killed by suspected gas leak on Spain’s Costa del Sol

Initially, it appeared the tragedy was caused by a gas explosion.

At family of four have been killed by a suspected gas leak on the Costa del Sol.

The deceased are reported to be parents and their two teenage children.

The grisly discovery occurred at around 3.20pm in the El Pontil area of Torrox.

Initially, it appeared the tragedy was caused by a gas explosion.

However, investigations suggest the deaths may have been caused by inhalation during the night, according to 101tv.

Sources close to the investigation told the media outlet that the victims were from a North African family: the father and mother, both around 50 years old; and their children, aged 17 and 19.
