Tributes have poured in for a much-loved barman in Marbella following his sudden death this week.
Known as Silver, the Polish father, who leaves behind a young daughter, was a popular server at Sinatra’s in Puerto Banus.
Announcing his death, the venue said: ‘Silver, our crazy and delightful Pole, R.I.P, you will be missed. Fly high.’
The post was flooded with hundreds of comments from ‘devastated’ British expats, tourists and locals who have come to know and love Silver over the years.
Karen Doran wrote: ‘Wow I am so sorry to read this. Silver worked in our restaurant Aidans Bar & Grill and was always a good friend to Aidan and myself, we spent June 2024 together in Puerto Banus when he worked in Sinatra’s. Rest In Peace our dear friend, god will watch over you now,’

Another customer said: ‘I’m devastated to hear this I was only speaking to him a few days ago. RIP Silver you were such a great guy, always so welcoming.’
Andy Shore wrote: ‘The Shores are devastated, he will be sadly missed, fantastic guy who always had time for my family who all loved him.’
Marica Brownlee added: ‘Absolutely heartbroken to hear this news.
‘I had the best three weeks back in September every day and night he treated me so well. We had the best laugh. Heartbroken.’
‘What a lovely guy, I only saw you last week,’ added Matthew James, ‘You will be dearly missed.’
The exact cause of Silver’s death has not yet been released.
