A series of heat alerts have been activated across southern and eastern Spain for Sunday.
The warnings, issued by state weather agency Aemet, cover the Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca and Valencia.
According to meteorologists, the Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce Valley will see temperatures soar to 38C, with both regions under a yellow advisory.

Under the same alert on Sunday is the southern half of the Costa Blanca, including Alicante city and Benidorm.
Meanwhile, the northern half has been placed under a more serious orange alert, as maximum highs are set to reach 40C.
Inland Murcia has been issued with the same orange warning.
