A 14-year-old girl was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after falling off a pedalo boat at sea.
The teenager was in the water near the Tahiti beach bar in Fuengirola when she slipped and hit her head.
Despite being ‘somewhat dazed’ from the fall, the girl was able to swim back to shore, reports Malaga Hoy.
It was there that lifeguards checked on her condition before paramedics were called to the scene.
Footage share on Instagram shows the youngster being placed onto a stretcher by a team of emergency workers.
She is then carefully carried off the beach before being taken to hospital.
According to reports, her injuries are not thought to be serious and she was seen to at hospital as a precaution.
