An American bodybuilder hammered his girlfriend to death inside their Fuengirola home before taking his own life, police revealed today.
The US national, of Colombian origin, and his Colombian partner, were both bodybuilders, sources told Malaga Hoy.
Their bodies were found at the property at around 1.45pm this afternoon after a friend of the woman reported her missing yesterday at the Torremolinos police station.
The couple lived in Reserva del Higueron, in the luxury Higueron West urbanisation.
They are said to have spent a lot of their time in Dubai.
Inside the home, officers discovered the lifeless body of a woman, with clear signs of violence, and that of a man, with signs suggesting suicide, a finding that will be confirmed by an autopsy.
