The curtain behind them is open, revealing the other dancers backstage preparing for the show. You feel like you’ve been granted access to a moment that isn’t typically shared with the audience, you feel like you should leave, but the music, the dancer, and the scene have you mesmerized. You sit down and the next thing you know, you’re drinking a red wine, the theater is full, and the show has started.
