A series of rain and hail warnings have been issued across Andalucia over Saturday and Sunday.
The alerts affect multiple provinces, including Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba and Jaen.
State weather agency Aemet has issued alerts for Cordoba, Granada, Jaen and Sevilla for Saturday afternoon and evening.
Meteorologists warn that intense downpours could bring up to 20 litres of rain per square metre in just one hour in some areas.
The warnings will be active from 3pm until midnight, with the worst conditions expected in inland areas.
In Cordoba, the Sierra, Pedroches, Campiña and Subbetica are all affected, with the latter at risk of the heaviest rainfall.
Similar conditions are forecast in Granada, particularly across the Cuenca del Genil, Sierra Nevada and the Alpujarras, while in Jaen the alert covers the Guadalquivir Valley, the capital and surrounding mountainous areas.
Much of Sevilla, including the Sierra Norte and Campiña, are also under warning.
Forecasters say the storms could be locally intense, with thunder and occasional hail.

There is also a possibility of so-called ‘mud rain’ caused by dust in the atmosphere mixing with the precipitation.
Temperatures are expected to drop, especially in the eastern half of the region, where the fall in daytime highs could be noticeable.
Winds will start off light but are expected to strengthen later in the afternoon, with moderate westerly winds developing and the chance of strong gusts along parts of the Atlantic coast and western Mediterranean.
