An Irish expat has issued a warning after filming the moment a man allegedly tried to attack her after following her home.
The clip shared by the young artist shows her turning around and walking down a flight of stairs in Benalmadena Costa while pointing her camera at a corner.
Suddenly, the man she feared was following her appears and tries to grab her phone, while she can be heard saying ‘that’s not cool’, before the video ends.
Sharing the video online, the artist, writing anonymously, said: ‘Be careful if you see this guy.
‘He chased a woman home (following her and hiding) and immobilised her, grabbing her from behind with one arm around her neck and the other covering her mouth. You can’t make ANY noise like that.
‘He was 10 metres from her house. Luckily, she acted on instinct and managed to escape. She ran to her neighbours’ house, not even her own, since 10 metres was too far…

‘Spreading this information is important, very, very important.
‘The police were called from the neighbour’s house, but when they arrived they did not find the guy.’
The Spanish Eye has contacted the victim and the police for comment.
