The alarm has been raised in Fuengirola following a wave of car break-ins this weekend.

Multiple vehicles in and around Torreblanca have had their windows smashed in and interiors raided.

One victim shared a video showing their van and a car behind them broken into.

They wrote: ‘Someone broke into our van and another car in the Torreblanca area of ​​Fuengirola.

‘I’m sharing the video in case this has happened to other people, or if anyone saw anything.

‘Yesterday, we thought two individuals in a gray car were driving around the area suspiciously.’

Another local claimed that four cars were smashed into on Calle Robles, also in Fuengirola.

One added: ‘Last night the same thing happened to me, but without breaking the windows they took all my things, my glasses, coins, everything. It happened in Boquetillo.’

The Spanish Eye has contacted Fuengirola police for comment.

Drivers are reminded to not leave anything on show inside their vehicles.
