A Mijas has resident has sounded the alarm after their bike was allegedly stolen from their balcony at night.
Footage shared online shows a young man walking slowly up the stairs of a property in Las Lagunas at 2.17am on Wednesday.
He is seen repeatedly looking over his shoulder while slowly removing a bike that is perched against the balcony railing of the home.
Another man, assumed to be an accomplice, can be seen allegedly acting as a lookout on the street below.
The victim said: ‘Last night someone broke into my house and stole my bicycle.
‘They don’t care anymore that there’s a camera or the light is on.
‘It happened in Lagunas de Mijas, so people should be careful.’
According to local residents, the affected property is in Calle San Fermin.
Bicycle or e-scooter owners are advised to keep the vehicles inside their homes whenever possible.
