After the wettest starts to the year for decades, Andalucia is set to bask in highs approaching 30C next week.
According to state weather agency Aemet, the mercury will begin to climb across much of the region from Tuesday.
On Wednesday, parts of Sevilla are expected to see highs of 29C, while Cordoba, Jaen and Granada will see maximums of between 24C and 26C.
The hotter days will come smack in the middle of the Semana Santa celebrations – which have suffered cancellations in previous years due to heavy rain.
On the Costa del Sol, temperatures are forecast to remain in the mid 20s, reaching a peak of 23C on Wednesday – although inland areas like Alora will reach 24C.

In Cadiz, both inland and coastal areas will see highs of 24C on Wednesday, according to the latest Aemet prediction.
It comes after forecasters this week announced that the chance of rain across the region during Semana Santa is extremely low.
