A 54-year-old man has died after falling from his motorcycle in Marbella on Sunday afternoon.
The fatal accident happened at around 5.20pm on Calle Guadalete, close to the Quiron Salud hospital.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident and ambulances and officers from the Local Police were dispatched immediately, according to Spanish news agency EFE.
However, when paramedics arrived, there was nothing they could do to save the man’s life and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
An investigation is now expected to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash.
