A series of weather alerts for heavy rain have been issued for western Andalucia on Tuesday.
From 8am, yellow alerts are in force for Huelva and much of Cadiz, including the entire coastline, where rainfall could reach 15 litres per square metre in just one hour.
The same alert is in place for the majority of Sevilla province from 12pm, with all alerts lasting until 11.59pm.
Aemet warns that showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail, especially along the coast.
Rain will spread gradually from west to east throughout the day, although it is unlikely to reach the far eastern provinces, where high cloud is expected to dominate instead.
Temperatures will rise slightly in some areas, particularly in the lower Guadalquivir valley, with highs of around 18C in Sevilla.

Winds will be light and variable along the Mediterranean coast, with easterlies in the Alborán Sea and southerly winds elsewhere, occasionally strong along the Atlantic coast before easing later in the day.
