A 53-year-old man has died following a motorcycle accident on the A-7 in Manilva.
According to Emergencias 112 Andalucia, the crash occurred at around 10.36am on Saturday in the direction of Cadiz.
The motorcyclist reportedly lost control of his vehicle before colliding with the crash barrier.
Several motorists who witnessed the incident immediately alerted the emergency services.
Paramedics from the Servicio Andaluz de Salud attended the scene and confirmed the man’s death.
Officers from the Guardia Civil were also deployed, managing traffic in the area and opening an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The exact cause of the accident is now under investigation. Authorities have once again urged road users to exercise extreme caution, particularly on motorway stretches with curves and safety barriers.
The incident came just hours after a 59-year-old man died in a car collision in Cartama.
According to Emergencias 112, the crash occurred at around 9.57pm on Friday, when two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash on the A-7054.
