A 59-year-old man has died following a serious road traffic collision in Cartama.
According to Emergencias 112 Andalucia, the crash occurred at around 9.57pm on Friday night, when two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash on the A-7054.
Four units from the Centro de Emergencias Sanitarias 061, part of the Andalucian Health Service, were dispatched to the scene.
Also sent were firefighters from the Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos de Malaga, who were required to free one of the occupants trapped inside a vehicle. Officers from the Guardia Civil also attended.
Emergency crews confirmed the death of the 59-year-old man at the scene.
Three other people – two men aged 30 and 34, and a 28-year-old woman – were injured and transferred to the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Malaga for treatment.
