An Atlantic front linked to Storm Goretti will reach Andalucia on Friday, meteorologists have warned.
The front will bring rain from the west and rough conditions along parts of the Mediterranean coast.
Rain is expected to affect Huelva, Cadiz, Cordoba and Jaen, with much lighter rainfall forecast elsewhere in the region.
Meanwhile, Granada and Almeria have been placed under yellow weather warnings for coastal conditions, with the latter also facing a yellow alert for strong winds.
Almeria will be under a yellow wind warning in the Almanzora Valley and Los Velez throughout Friday, with gusts of up to 70km/hr.
A yellow warning for rough seas will also be in force in western Almeria and the city of Almeria between 3pm and 10pm, with westerly winds of 50-60 km/h (force 7) and waves of two to three metres.
Granada province will also be under a yellow warning for coastal conditions from noon to midnight, affecting the entire coastline, with similar winds and wave heights forecast.
