A Dutch woman has been arrested after stabbing at least three people in Torrevieja.
The suspect, in her fifties, first attempted to rob a bar armed with two knives at around 8.20pm on Tuesday.
She then left the establishment and stabbed a postal worker in the street, injuring his forearm.
Later, she entered another restaurant and stabbed two more people, injuring one of the victims in the chest.
The string of attacks occurred in a restaurant area of the Rocio del Mar residential complex, an area popular with British expats and tourists.
The attacker was detained by Policia Local officers from the neighbouring municipality of Orihuela.
She has been handed over to the Guardia Civil, which is now leading the investigation.
