At least three people have been killed in a series of deadly collisions in Malaga province this morning.
The deadly crashes, which left six others injured, occurred in Marbella and Ronda just over two weeks before Christmas.
One man was killed in a collision on the A-7 motorway near San Pedro de Alcantara in Marbella.
The incident unfolded at around 7.05am, and involved at least two cars and a motorbike.
According to initial reports, the driver of one of the cars died in the crash, which was quite severe.
Sources from the Traffic Management Centre reported that the motorway was closed in the direction of Malaga and that traffic is being diverted onto a service lane.
In Ronda, another serious accident at 2am on the A-7376 road resulted in one death and three serious injuries.
Finally, a 30-year-old man died early this morning in a motorcycle accident in the municipality of Marbella.
