Two men have been arrested over the alleged rape of a woman in Sabinillas on the Costa del Sol.
The victim woke up naked and semi-conscious on the beach and with clear signs of sexual assault, reports Diario Sur.
The victim, who was allegedly drugged, reported the incident to the Guardia Civil, who involved the Women and Minors Unit (EMUME).
The alleged attack happened in September, but details have only been released today.
According to authorities, there are indications that the sexual act was not consensual.
The two detainees have already been brought before a judge. Two other people have also been arrested for allegedly covering up the incident.
News of the Sabinillas case comes after an 18-year-old was allegedly raped in Malaga city at the end of October.
On November 27, three men aged between 18 and 19 were arrested for the sexual assault, which is alleged to have occurred outside a nightclube in the San Rafael industrial park.
Two of them already had prior convictions for sexual assault.
