A Belfast bar owner on the Costa del Sol has been left with excruciating injuries after a customer allegedly tried to ‘rip his cheek off’ during an ‘unprovoked’ attack on Halloween night.

Jacqueline Graham shared details of the alleged assault suffered by her partner Trevor outside their popular Darcie’s Motown & Soul Bar in Benalmadena.

Body ‘is dumped’ in Marbella’s Puerto Banus by ‘masked gang on drug boat’

In a later video outside hospital, Jacqueline vowed that the man responsible ‘will pay for what he has done’, after leaving Trevor with extremely painful stitches inside his cheeks and gums.

Jacqueline explained how the alleged attacker ‘seemed nice enough’ when entering their bar at around 11pm, although she said he was already drunk.

‘I kept my eye on him and when he knocked over a table with drinks I asked him to leave (nicely),’ she explained, adding that she ‘told him and his wife they could come back tomorrow or another day.’

She continued: ‘When outside, Trevor said ‘come back tomorrow’ and the guy then went to fist pump as if all was good, BUT on that, as Trevor went to fist pump back, the guy swung with his other fist and said ‘ I’m going to kill you’.’ ..

Jacqueline said that ‘all hell broke loose’ and ‘our lovely customers stepped in to protect Trevor’.

However, she said: ‘He managed to get his hand inside Trevor’s mouth, almost ripping his cheek off, he needed to go to the hospital.

‘Trevor now has stitches inside his cheek and gums, very sore and swollen today.’

She added: ‘We wanted to just say a huge thank you to everyone for helping last night and for getting the police fast. I want to say thank you to our staff for staying with me after hours and helping me lock up.’

In a later video from outside hospital, Jacqueline said Trevor was in tremendous pain as doctors had to thoroughly clean his stitches.

She said he could ‘hardly speak’ due to the ordeal, at which point he put his face in his hands.
