Scores of rail services were suspended on Wednesday evening due to flooding of key routes and infrastructure.
Public operator Renfe has urged travellers to check the status of the journeys before setting off.
However, any passenger with an affected ticket should be contacted directly by SMS or email.
Among the routes suspended those between Sevilla and Cadiz, Huelva, Malaga and Cordoba, as well as Huelva to Jagubo.
Meanwhile, long-distance trains destined for Cadiz and Huelva are being forced to end in Sevilla.
The local ‘Cercanias’ trains in Sevilla are also suspended while clean-up operations get underway.
Authorities said they are working as quickly as possible to restore order on the train networks.
