According to the data from Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE), the total represents a 5.53% increase compared with July 2024.

Visitor spending also hit historic highs, reaching €2.18 billion, up 7.7% year-on-year.

Record spending and longer stays

On average, each international visitor spent €191 per day, an increase of 12.32%, with an average stay of 7.42 days.

The total spend per tourist came to €1,417, up 2.07% from the previous year.

Over the first seven months of 2025, Andalucia attracted more than 8.33 million international travellers – nearly 8% more than the same period in 2024 – generating a cumulative spend of €11.3 billion, a rise of more than 10%.

Andalucia is third most visited region

At the national level, the Balearic Islands continued to dominate with 23.28% of all international arrivals, followed by Catalonia (21.34%).

Andalucia ranked third, drawing 13.98% of foreign visitors to Spain.

With record-breaking arrivals and spending, July confirmed Andalucia’s status as one of Spain’s top tourist destinations, fuelled by longer stays, higher daily expenditure, and consistent growth throughout 2025.
