Temperatures will soar to 44C in Andalucia on Tuesday, experts have warned, triggering a feared red alert from state weather agency Aemet.
The most severe warning possible has been issued for the whole province of Sevilla, and the majority of Huelva and Cordoba.

Sevilla and Cordoba will see the worst of the heat, where the mercury is expected to reach 44C.
The other regions on red alert will see maximums of 42C, according to Aemet’s forecast.
Elsewhere, the majority of Cadiz and Granada provinces are on an orange level alert for extreme temperatures of up to 42C.
Most of Malaga has avoided being placed under advisory, although inland areas like Antequera have been issued a yellow alert on Tuesday for highs of 40C.
