Police in Alicante have ramped up their search efforts to find missing British expat Janet Fison.

Footage shared online shows drones and extra patrols scouring the town of Benejuzar, particularly by the river.

A post by Jacarilla town hall, where Janet lives with her husband, said police are continuing to search for the much-loved resident.

One Brit commented today: ‘I’ve now seen the Guardia Civil helicopter is combing the river bear Benejuzar. I pray she’s found safely elsewhere.’
