A series of fresh heat warnings have been issued across the southernmost region of Andalucia.
According to state weather agency Aemet, temperatures in Sevilla province will reach 40C on Friday.
The entire province has therefore been placed on an orange alert between 1pm and 9pm tomorrow.

An orange warning means there is a significant risk to the population and is just one below the maximum red, which warns of an extreme risk to personal safety.
Also on alert for heat tomorrow – albeit on a less serious yellow warning – is the majority of Huelva province and Cordoba.
In both provinces, maximum temperatures will reach between 36C and 39C.
