This is the moment one of two suspects was arrested over the shooting of an Irishman on the Costa Blanca.
Footage shared by the Guardia Civil shows the white male being handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.
It came after detectives discovered a revolver wrapped in cloth and dumped in a plastic bag near the scene of the shooting.
The 21-year-old victim was shot in the head in Orihuela Costa on May 13 and remains in a critical condition in intensive care.
The Guardia Civil confirmed earlier this week that two men had been arrested as the alleged attackers.
One of the two – accused of pulling the trigger – has been jailed without bail, while the second has been released under conditions and has had his passport confiscated.
The shooting took place at night near the Zenia Boulevard shopping centre in Orihuela Costa.
After collecting witness statements, investigators located a bag containing a revolver, ammunition and the victim’s phone in an open field.
They were able to track down two suspects, aged 27 and 45, one in Orihuela Costa and the other in Pilar de la Horadada, charging them both with attempted murder.
Officers also searched one of their homes, which can be seen in the police footage.
