Two bodies have been discovered inside a tourist apartment on the Spanish holiday island of Tenerife.
The corpses of a man and a woman were found by the authorities after people staying at the Caledonia Park complex reported a foul smell.
The man and woman, both aged 23, were found in an advanced state of decomposition.
The complex is situated in the San Eugenio neighbourhood of Adeje, in the south of the island.

According to sources close to the investigation, the man was Italian and the woman was an Argentinian expat who had been living in Tenerife for some time.
The autopsies confirmed on Sunday that they both died of an overdose after taking a narcotic substance.
An investigation by the Policia Nacional continues.
