A horror car crash on the A-7 has sparked a major emergency response on the Costa del Sol.
Footage shared online shows multiple firefighter trucks arriving at the scene of the incident near Fuengirola on Friday afternoon.
A vehicle is seen overturned and severely damaged after crashing into the barrier.
Firefighters had to cut the driver out of the car so they could be rushed to hospital.
The number of injured and their current conditions are not yet known.
