Summer is coming: Highs of 34C to bake Spain’s Andalucia Thursday – these are the hottest areas

Across all eight provinces, the hottest time of day will be between 3pm and 5pm.

Thermometers are set to soar in Andalucia on Thursday as temperatures reach their peak for the week.

According to state weather agency Aemet, the region will experience highs of 34C, with some areas to ‘feel like’ 35C.

Across all eight provinces, the hottest time of day will be between 3pm and 5pm.

Sevilla will see the highest temperatures, with the mercury to peak at 34C.

Meanwhile, on the Costa del Sol, Estepona is expected to be hottest, with highs of 30C predicted.

The rest of the coast will see highs range between 25C and 28C.

The Atlantic coast of Cadiz will have some of the coolest temperatures, with highs sitting between 23C and 25C.

In inland Malaga and Granada areas, as well as Jaen and Huelva, Aemet predicts highs to reach the low 30s.
