A British teenager is fighting for his life after plummeting from a third-floor balcony in Ibiza.

The 19-year-old fell from an apartment on Calle Soletat at around 9.47pm on Sunday night.

Witnesses called the 061 emergency number to report an unconscious person sprawled on the ground following a ‘possible fall’.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and the young man was stabilised before being transferred to the Can Misses Hospital.

He was admitted at 11.51pm with severe head trauma and multiple injuries, according to the Ibiza and Formentera Health Department (Asef).
