A series of weather alerts have been issued for the eastern coast of Spain.
Large parts of Valencia, Castellon and northern Alicante have been placed under a yellow warning by state weather agency Aemet.
The northern half of Alicante is facing up to 20mm of rainfall and hail from 5pm this afternoon until at least 10pm.
The identical warning is in place for the entire coast of Valencia.
Meanwhile, the whole of Castellon, including its coastline, is under the same warning from 2pm until 8pm.
The heavy rain and hail is expected to hit inland areas of both Valencia and Castellon.
