Meteorologists predict up to 20mm of rainfall could fall within an hour across all three islands.

Aemet said the rainfall will be accompanied by storms.

In Mallorca and Menorca, the alert starts at 9pm Sunday and ends on Monday at 5.59pm and 1.59pm respectively.

In Ibiza, the alert is in place from 9pm on Sunday until 9.59am on Monday.

In Mallorca and Menorca, the alerts start at the same time and end on Monday at 5.59pm and 1.59pm respectively.

It comes after Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, declared an emergency on Saturday due to extreme flash floods.

Footage shared on X showed how streets were turned into rivers that carried away cars and rubbish containers.
