A BRITISH tourist has collapsed and died in Benidorm while celebrating his stag do with family and friends.

The unnamed holidaymaker, said to be in his late 20s, was enjoying a night out at the Funky Flamingo bar last Saturday night when tragedy struck.

An employee told The Spanish Eye: ‘The man had a heart attack and fell to the floor and hit his head hard.

‘He started bleeding a lot from the head. They tried to resuscitate him with CPR while the ambulance was coming, but it was unsuccessful.

‘When the ambulance arrived he was already dead. So sad, he was only 28 or 29, on his stag party with his father and friends. Supposed to get married in May.’

The employee added that the man was said to have suffered from a heart condition.

It came after fellow Brits rushed to social media to pay their respects after witnessing the incident.

One tourist asked: ‘Does anyone know if the man who collapsed in Flamingo bar is okay?… Been worried sick ever since about him’, before one replied: ‘Unfortunately he passed away.’

Another said they saw the moment he ‘fell backwards off his chair’.

The Spanish Eye has contact the local police for comment.
