A British family has vowed to never return to Benidorm after they were allegedly beaten up by a bouncer this week.

The mother, named only as Jan, took to social media to warn other holidaymakers following the alleged assault on Monday.

She shared pictures of her young son’s injuries, including stitches in his upper lip.

Jan wrote: ‘My 51-year-old husband and two sons were brutally attacked by a bouncer in an unprovoked attack as they left a bar near Morgan’s tavern at 11pm on Monday night.

‘They were pepper sprayed and kicked around. This left them totally incapacitated and unable to defend themselves.

‘My son in the photo was left unconscious after being punched in the face with what we believe to be a knuckle duster. This resulted in being taken to hospital by ambulance.

‘The police called to their hotel and confirmed they watched the CCTV and were unable to trace the bouncer involved. We will never return to Benidorm.’

It follows a series of recent widely-publicised attacks in the resort.

One British mother told the Spanish Eye that she was beaten up by a bouncer inside a venue on the strip, before being kicked repeatedly while curled up on the dancefloor.

It came after police issued a warning to tourists about the infamous ‘muggers alley’, where a thuggish group of women continue to target holidaymakers.
