Spanish police are investigating the moment a group of Israeli tourists were kicked out of a restaurant by its pro-Palestinian owner.
Footage shared on X shows Lebanese businessman Samir Slim shouting at the group of eight while snatching away their menus.
The incident, which occurred in the northern city of Vigo on Tuesday, went viral on social media and has been condemned by the Israeli embassy.
In the clip, Slim tells the group: ‘Go and eat in Palestine, they have good beer there… you sons of b*****s.’
He is then heard shouting ‘long live Palestine’ in Spanish, before the Israelis shout back him: ‘Viva Israel, viva Israel!’

The incident was recorded on Tuesday in Vigo, northern Spain, at the Italian restaurant Mimassa on Calle Areal.
In the video he recorded himself, Slim accuses the group of supporting the conflict in Gaza.
According to 20Minutos, Slim said the customers shouted ‘Long live Israel!’ when he asked them where they were from.
As they left, one of them responded with ‘f*** Palestine.’
A Madrid resident who saw the video alerted the Vigo Local Police, claiming that the incident gave ‘a bad image of the city’ and could constitute a crime punishable by law.
The officers viewed the video and drafted a report, which has since been forwarded to the National Police, to investigate whether a hate crime or an act of discrimination had occurred.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Embassy in Spain condemned the incident through its X account, writing: ‘It is completely unacceptable that in the Spain of 2025, a climate has been created that allows people to be ejected from a restaurant simply for being Israeli.’
‘A Europe in which Jews are afraid to speak Hebrew is a Europe with a very serious problem,’ it added.
The investigation continues.
