It’s almost a miracle to find a quality Spanish tapas bar in Marbella with bargain prices.
Enter La Bodeguita del Paris II, located in the centre of San Pedro de Alcantara.
This recently opened spot on Calle Marques del Duero is already buzzing midweek, with tables full of Spanish diners – always the clearest sign you’ve landed somewhere worth your time.
It is actually the restaurant’s second location in the town, with the success of its first allowing for expansion.
We ordered a spread that would comfortably satisfy two – four beers, two gildas, generous plate of patatas bravas, a montadito de carrillada, two mini burgers and a sizzling prawn pil-pil – and the bill came to just €35.70.
In Marbella terms, that’s borderline unheard of.
The standout was the pil-pil. The prawns were plump and swimming in a rich, garlicky oil that was far from greasy – exactly what you want from the dish, and at just €8, it’s a steal.
The bravas were done right, with the creamy paprika sauce coming with a spicy kick, while the gildas brought that sharp, salty hit of anchovy and pickled pepper that cuts through everything else on the table.

Even the simpler bites – like the carrillada montadito – were packed with flavour, slow-cooked and properly seasoned.
The cañas for just €2 might not sound remarkable elsewhere, but in Marbella in 2026, it absolutely is.
Inside, the space is warm and boasts a pool table and multiple TVs for showing sport, with a mix of high tables and more traditional seating, while outside there’s a terrace that catches the evening atmosphere.
It’s the kind of place you come for ‘a quick one’ and end up staying far longer than planned.
La Bodeguita del Paris II is definitely a local gem and is Spanish Eye approved.
