A man has jumped onto the busy A-7 motorway in Fuengirola in an apparent suicide attempt.
Emergency services confirmed that the individual attempted to take his own life on the busy road, prompting a major response and disruption to traffic.
According to 112 Andalucia, the incident caused tailbacks of up to four kilometres in both directions.
