An alleged drug mule is accused of smuggling €430,000 worth of herbal cannabis on flight from Malaga to Dublin.
The suspect, in his 30s, was arrested after landing in the Irish capital last Friday (March 27).
According to police, some 21.5kg of herbal cannabis was discovered concealed in vacuum packed packages.
The passenger was arrested by the gardaí force and has since been charged.
He was scheduled to appear at court over the weekend.
The arrest formed part of Ireland Revenue’s crackdown on organised crime groups focused on drug trafficking.
