A 30-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car on Monday morning on the MA-21 near the entrance to Malaga Airport.
According to local reports, the man had just landed and was crossing the road with a group of friends – allegedly in an unauthorised area – when the collision occurred.
Emergency services were alerted at around 10.37am, prompting Andalucia’s 112 control centre to dispatch Local Police officers and medical teams to the scene.
Paramedics treated the injured man at the roadside before transferring him for further medical care.
Initial reports indicate he suffered fractures to his left leg and may have sustained additional injuries, although the full extent and severity of his condition have not yet been confirmed.
