A yellow alert for rough seas from state weather agency Aemet affects the coasts of Malaga, Granada and Almeria, with two-metre waves and 60km/hr predicted throughout Wednesday.

On Thursday, the warning will be removed from Malaga but upgraded to orange in Granada and Almeria, with waves expected to reach four metres.

Meanwhile, Granada’s Costa Tropical is on a yellow warning for 80km/hr winds Wednesday, which will remain in place on Thursday.

On both Wednesday and Thursday, inland Almeria is on alert for strong winds of up to 90km/hr.
