Good news for rail passengers in Andalucia as the Malaga-Sevilla mid-distance service is finally back to normal.
Renfe confirmed on Saturday that the line has been fully restored, meaning trains are once again running as usual along one of the region’s busiest corridors.
The announcement was made via InfoRenfe on X, the operator’s official traffic updates channel, and was later reported by Europa Press.
In recent days, services across the region’s rail network had been hit by a string of problems.
Adverse weather conditions caused delays and cancellations on several routes.
On top of that, the aftermath of the Adamuz accident in Cordoba further disrupted timetables, leaving passengers facing uncertainty and longer journeys.
Now, with the Malaga–Sevilla route back up and running, travellers can expect a return to regular schedules.
After a turbulent week for rail users, it’s a welcome return to routine for one of southern Spain’s key train links.
