Andalucia has suffered one of its wettest winters in years thanks to a carousel of Atlantic storms – with eight landing in Spain so far in 2026 alone.
The consistent rainfall has caused widespread flooding, blackouts, structural damage and even multiple deaths.
It has also left many wondering if the miserable weather will ever end. Well, according to Aemet, it is just a matter of days.
According to the state weather agency’s forecast, we have to fast forward to Valentine’s Day to get past the worst of the rain and winds.
Meteorologists predict that next Saturday (February 14), there will be almost zero rain across Andalucia.

Meanwhile, highs on the Costa del Sol will reach 20C, while inland cities like Sevilla will reach 18C – not bad for mid-winter February.
In Almeria, the coast will see the mercury soar to highs of between 19C and 21C – with Carboneras to be the hottest area.
Parts of Cordoba and the coast of Granada will see highs of 18C on that day, although it should be noted that such forecasts are always subject to change.
