Donald Trump Jr has been spotted leaving a meeting in Gibraltar.
The US President’s eldest son spent several hours on the Rock on Friday, arriving in a convoy of four vehicles and under tight security.
The executive vice-president of the family business – The Trump Organization – was in the British overseas territory for around three-and-a-half hours.
He arrived shortly after midday and remained there from roughly 12.30pm to 4pm.
According to Gibraltar’s public broadcaster GBC, Trump Jr held a meeting at Madison Building.
The building is an upmarket office complex in the territory’s Midtown district that houses major firms and legal chambers.
The broadcaster reported that the visit centred on talks at Hassans, one of Gibraltar’s most prominent law firms and a key player in large-scale investment projects on the Rock.
Trump Jr is understood to have landed at Malaga Airport before travelling down the AP-7 to La Línea de la Concepción.
Spain’s Policia Nacional, who had been informed in advance, facilitated the passage of his convoy through the border.
Once across the frontier, Gibraltar’s police forces temporarily blocked several streets to give priority to the motorcade as it made its way to the meeting.
