A British expat has condemned a ‘true act of evil’ after a family of stray kittens were allegedly killed and left out to find ‘as a message’.
Henrietta Ross explained how she had been caring for the two-month-old felines near the Aloha Hill Club complex in Nueva Andalucia, along with their mother.
She claims she was told she could no longer keep feeding the strays, so moved them to an open field that ‘doesn’t belong to anyone.’
In a post online, Henrietta said she was waiting for them to be a little older so she could have them spayed and find them homes, before making the terrible discovery on Thursday.
She said: ‘Today, their tiny lives were taken in the most cruel and senseless way. Someone intentionally killed them and left their little bodies near another colony of cats we feed down the road.
‘It felt like a message. A warning. And it is something I am still struggling to understand.
‘I am sharing this because I want people to know that these things do happen, and to please be careful and mindful if you are feeding or caring for stray animals. These animals have every right to exist here. This is their world too.

‘They deserve safety, kindness, and space to live, especially as development pushes them out of every corner they have left. Many of us are doing what we can-spaying, feeding, and trying to reduce suffering-not create it.’
Henrietta said she had a message for the person responsible for the killings.
She said: ‘I hope someday you understand the pain you have caused. Not just to them, but to every person who has loved them and tried to protect them. This was inhumane and a true an act of evil.’
