An appeal has been launched to find a British woman missing on the Costa del Sol.

Charlotte disappeared from Benalmadena on Sunday, September 28, her family said.

According to a post by her sister Pat Bamber, Charlotte was last seen at the Arroyo de la Miel station on the C1 cercanias train line heading towards Malaga airport – however she never arrived.

Pat said: ‘She is suffering a mental health crisis but is not a danger to others, only to herself.’

The worried sibling described Charlotte as having ‘short, thick and dark brown hair, blue eyes, a slim build and measuring 5ft5 in height.’

She added: ‘Possibly wearing powder blue, calf length loose trousers and a matching powder blue top, possibly sleeveless, an orange and red bright shawl, black trainers and dark socks.

‘Wearing a small, light brown knapsack on her back, black headphones and possibly metal earrings.’

Charlotte’s father Jeff is already in Malaga looking for her, while the police have been informed.
