This is the moment Spain dropped 12 tonnes of food aid into famine-ravaged Gaza on Friday.
Footage shared by the government shows dozens of packages being ejected from a military plane over the bomb-ravaged region.
They are then seen being carried towards the ground by self-opening parachutes.
A young Palestinian and translator named Jenin took to X to praise the Spanish government.
She wrote: ‘Who said that waving to aid airplanes won’t work? It did!!! Gracias, España!’
Responding to questions underneath the post she added: ‘We only got to take one packet… My brother had to run as fast as he could, endured pepper sprayed at him and ten other guys on top of him.
‘We waited for him for 30 minutes to come back and thank God he didn’t comeback empty handed.’

The Spanish Air Force dropped the food over the Gaza Strip from an A400 aircraft, after taking off Friday morning from Jordan with 5,500 food rations that will feed 11,000 Palestinians.
The Ministry of Defense said the food, organised by the Spanish Agency for Development Cooperation (AECID), was dropped into Gaza with the help of 34 parachutes.
It said the operation was part of a government effort to help alleviate the famine plaguing the Strip due to the blockade of humanitarian aid by land.
The A400 departed from Amman, Jordan, one day after taking off from Zaragoza Air Base.
