Mijas has been rocked by yet another fatal shooting after a man opened fire inside a home on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred in the Molino del Viento neighbourhood shortly after 6pm, reports the 112 emergency service.

The perpetrator may have used a shotgun to kill his target, according to sources quoted by Malaga Hoy.
The alleged killer is said to have opened fire following the discovery of his father’s body – who had been missing for a week.
The Guardia Civil has taken over the investigation to try and clarify the sequence of events.
Sources from the force said that moments after the missing man’s body was found, one of his sons was arrested as the alleged killer of another resident in the same neighbourhood.

The family had not heard from Raul Heredia, a 41-year-old father of four, for almost a week.
He went missing on July 24. A large search operation was deployed on Tuesday, involving divers, drones, a helicopter and sniffer dogs.
His relatives raised the alarm this past Monday through the SOS Missing Persons association.
There had been a concern that the case could end in a violent confrontation between the missing man’s family and the person who was last seen with him.
On the day Heredia is presumed to have disappeared, he was not alone, but was accompanied by one of his cousins, according to Spanish news agency EFE.
