Three young men have been injured following a knife attack in the centre of Madrid.
Two of the victims are in a critical condition, according to sources from the Madrid Emergency Service quoted by Europa Press.
The rampage happened at around 4am on Friday on Calle de la Princesa 89, in the heart of the capital city.
A SAMUR-Civil Protection team treated and transported three men with varying degrees of injury to different hospitals.
According to El Mundo, at least three suspects have been arrested over the incident.

The victims were reportedly waiting for a bus when the attackers asked them for money, before attempting to rob them.
One of the men, aged 19, suffered a penetrating wound to the abdomen and was transferred to the Hospital Clinico in a serious condition.
An 18-year-old man was admitted to the same hospital, although his diagnosis is more favourable, with a superficial wound to his arm and leg.
Meanwhile, a third 19-year-old man, in a ‘potentially serious’ condition, was taken to the local 12 de Octubre Hospital after suffering a penetrating wound to his hip.
The three were transported in medical convoys escorted by the Municipal Police, while the National Police are investigating the attack.
