A series of heat alerts have been issued by Spanish weather agency Aemet.
The Costa del Sol is under a yellow warning on Wednesday, when the hot ‘terral’ wind is set to send temperatures to 36C.
The alert, which also covers the Guadalhorce Valley, is in place between 1pm and 9pm tomorrow.

The terral is a hot, dry wind that blows inland from the land towards the sea, particularly along parts of the southern Spanish coast – most notably in Malaga and surrounding areas of Andalucia.
It raises temperatures sharply, sometimes exceeding 40C, even near the sea.

Over the same period, Ibiza and Menorca will be under a yellow alert for heat, with highs of 37C predicted.
Back on the mainland, much of Murcia is under a yellow advisory, with the mercury expected to reach 38C.
Several inland and coastal areas of Valencia are also on alert on Wednesday, with highs of 38C expected in Xativa, Valencia city, Gandia and Sagunto.
